You Have a Story to Tell: Why Wait?
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of listening to––and writing about––the stories of people from all walks of life, from bungy-jumping grandmothers to Kermit Love, the creator of Sesame Street’s Oscar the Grouch and Snuffleupagus, Christiane Northrup, MD, a pioneer in women’s health, Larry Dossey, MD., an expert in spirituality and modern medicine, Steven Halpern, one of the founding fathers of new-age music, Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop––and many more.
Each of the individuals that I’ve had the honor of sitting with has had a number of stories about their challenges and their triumphs. These stories are rich with information that can help others.
All Stories are Important & You Have a Story to Tell
Your story can help people far beyond your intimate circle of friends and family, too. That’s why we write, speak, and muster up the courage to honor our own stories and share them with the world.
Recently, I heard Brendon Burchard say that we’re losing the wisdom of intergenerational messages. And that statement reminded me that…
We have a responsibility to share our stories.
So if you’re looking to:
- Build Your Platform
- Establish Your Credibility
- Attract New Clients
- And be a positive force in this world
Then The Legacy Keeper is for you.
Read on to explore the different ways we can work together.
The Legacy Keeper I
Here, I guide you in defining, describing, and dispersing your message with the world. We’ll decide the best course of action to follow to meet your goals and the mission for your book. We’ll repurpose your content for blogs and other social media posts so that you can begin to build your platform. And when it’s time, I’ll use my contacts in the publishing world to identify the best avenue to publish your book.
The Legacy Keeper II
Not everyone has the time or energy to write their stories––even though they know they must be preserved. I take on a few special assignments each year to assist individuals pass on their legacy––not their regret. We’ll work together to mine your precious gold and mold it into blogs, books, and more.
The Legacy Keeper DIY
This online course will allow you to write your story at your own pace. Watch for more details in the early part of 2018 as this course is launched.
The Legacy Keeper - Retreats
Traveling away from home and being surrounded with the support of other writers makes capturing our stories much easier. It builds momentum and community with others who are on a similar mission––to leave a legacy that will benefit family members for generations to come.
Retreats are being planned for San Diego and Colorado in 2018. Watch for dates.
Private retreats: If you’d like to gather a group of your own for a private retreat, I’ll travel to your destination, as well.
Remember, Stories Hold Power ~ Your Story is Important
The Legacy Keeper is the Keeper of Knowledge, hard won knowledge paid for through the experiences of life. The good times and those challenging ones are all part of the human experience––all make us who we are today and weave the story of our legacy. Recording the lessons of triumph and lessons of loss and pain––and capturing the gold that can be mined from them––is the mission of the Legacy Keeper.
This is the priceless gift we can leave to future generations.
Our legacy––and theirs.
If preserving your legacy is important and you want to ensure that your legacy lives on, please schedule a consultation, and we’ll work together to make that happen.
